An Awesome Bicycle Tour

The Sojourn Acadia, Maine bicycle trip late last summer was awesome.

I thought staying in one hotel for a week might provide repetitive road trips …

Not so.

Acadia, Mount Desert Island, Bar Harbor, offers wonderfully diverse roads and trails between the park loops, the carriage trails, and the portions of the park gotten to by Lobster boat.

And the finale of ascending Cadillac Mountain – not to be missed!

The tour leaders were superb and saw to our every need.

Am I biased?

Sure, this wasn’t my first tour with Sojourn, and other Sojourn tours have been inspiring as well, including

• • California Wine Country (love the Russian River area)

• • Armstrong Forest, and Bodega Bay ribbon candy road

• • Tucson, AZ cactus scenery and varied elevations

• • Niagara on the Lakes

Looking forward to a few more.
